A Clouded Heart Can’t Change The World

by | Mar 19, 2023 | Poetry

A clouded heart craves happiness but will never kiss the sun
And even the noblest intentions continue casting shadow
Only through seeing with a pure heart will one find peace
Where the light is not sought, but radiates with ease

In this, one mustn’t expel effort to change the world
But instead change to seeing that we shine as it
Only then will a beautiful impact unfold naturally
When the pure heart is unclouded and acts freely
